Three or four years ago one of my coworkers, Jasmine (check out her blog here), introduced me to Design Sponge and Google Reader (which no longer exists, :( RIP Google Reader), and inadvertently started me on my journey into the land of blogs! Since then I have subscribed to a substantial number of blogs. I was going to give you a count but then decided I didn't want to know the number... its a lot! One of the highlights of my day, when I get a chance, is sitting down and catching up on my blog feed, so I thought I would share with you my top 10 favorite blogs! (not necessarily in order)
The Lettered Cottage
Hands down, my favorite blog! This is the first blog I check, and I get excited every time I see they've posted! They have a beautiful design aesthetic, and I love seeing what they come up with. They blog about their life, music, photography, design, and so much more. I aspire to have a house someday as beautifully designed as theirs!
Jasmine Star Photography
One of the first photography blogs I started following. I first found out about Jasmine on CreativeLIVE. Sidenote, if you don't know what CreativeLIVE is you definitely need to check it out! She has a simple, beautiful photography style. She writes beautifully as well, and she loves to teach. All that to say, I've learned a lot about photography from her blog and her classes on creativeLIVE, she is an inspiration!
The Pioneer Woman
She lives on a ranch out west somewhere, she had her own Food Network show, her recipes are AMAZING, and she homeschools her 4 kids.... need I say more. She's amazing, and so is the blog. Her recipes are to die for and I love her personality and the way she writes!
A Cup of Jo
This blog has a little bit of everything, which is why I love it so much! She is a magazine writer turned blogger, who lives in NYC with her husband and two sons. She covers recipes, hairstyles, fashion, motherhood, movies, attractions... and a whole host of other things!
House of Smiths
DIY, crafting, and decorating. What could be better? Shelley has a beautiful sytle, a beautiful family, and is quite inspiring! I love that Shelley and her husband Cason tackle their home projects together, I someday envision Matt and I do similar things!
The
House of Smiths blog is a collaboration of home DIY, decorating, a
little crafting, family life ... and all the humor that we find in it
along the way. Our blog is a great way for us to share, inspire, and
learn from our new attempts at tackling projects on our very long list
of "things to do", by taking it
One space at a time.

IHeart this blog! Organizing is definitely not one of my strong points, but I realize I function so much better when the spaces around me are organized. Thanks to Jen and her host of collaborators I am slowly changing my spaces to function at the capacity I need them to! She has a ton of great and innovative ideas to get your house, family, and life organized. I would highly recommend this blog!
Merricks Art
This is probably one of the most recent blogs I started following. She is a seamstress and loves to create and style outfits! Love seeing the stuff she puts together and the items she makes, its an inspiration.
Style by Emily Henderson
I first saw Emily on HGTV's Design Star show, which she went on to win! She now is an HGTV Host, a designer, a stylist, and a blogger. I love her style, and love all the tips and tricks she gives out!
Mama Natural
"A community for natural mamas who are into real food, healthy living, and conscious parenting." They do video blogs, which is fun! I've loved the information I've gotten from her and I really enjoy reading/watching their posts!
Passive Aggressive Notes
"Painfully polite, and hilariously hostile writings" This is my comic relief of the day. Quite amusing, you should just check it out!
What blogs do you follow? Any favorites? I would love to hear about them!
Stay classy!

P.S. In case you wanted to know. Now that Google Reader is no more, I use Feedly, to manage my blog subscriptions, and I love it. I was a bit nervous about loosing Reader, just because I was used to it, but Feedly has made the switch pretty much seamless and I really enjoy their interface!
